Stacey Bradley was a member of our Lunenburg family who tragically died in an automobile accident in September 2003. One of Stacey’s greatest loves was watching her son Jacob play baseball in Lunenburg. In the summer of 2003, Jacob participated in the Hopkinton Ma 8 year old tournament with his Lunenburg team. The team, parents and coaches formed a bond throughout this tournament playing, traveling and just enjoying the game of baseball with their kids. Stacey often remarked how this summer experience was not only rewarding for the kids but for the entire family.
In Stacey's memory we wanted to bring the opportunity to the young players in Central Mass getting ready for minors to participate in a tournament like the one in Hopkinton so they too can learn to enjoy the game of baseball. Stacey’s dedication to baseball, working in concession stands, running them for the fall program and just her smiling face at the games will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Join us for a great summer of baseball and watch the younger players grow and mature during this 5 week tournament.
